Our expert craftsman Gail Knight is the antithesis of our brand's namesake.

From an early age, drifting from one coastal town to another was the norm for her military family. Before settling down in Virginia Beach, she called home to the shores of California, Hawaii and Guam (don't be surprised when she drops the occasional "håfa?" in conversation, meaning "what?"). And now, after several decades of woodworking under her belt, Gail consciously combines an otherwise inactive material with the renewable philosophy of the sea.
